Crimson Enigma is a piece born from a collaboration with artist Zokay. In this painting, I depicted the portrait of a woman with an enigmatic gaze, while Zokay brought his calligraphic lettering talent, embellishing the background and the woman's coat. Dominated by intense shades of red, this artwork is part of a series created for our joint exhibition.
The piece represents the archetype of the shadow, portraying a woman who proudly carries her own darkness, symbolized by the richly decorated coat with embossed calligraphy. The coat acts as a trompe-l'œil, blending into the background and evoking the complexity and depth of feminine identity.
